Recognized as one of the leading financial consultants in
the long-term care field for many years, Dan Curtis also has been engaged
in the leasing, acquisition, development, operation, and ownership of
senior care facilities. His involvement includes over $100 million in
senior care financing and development, as well as serving as a consultant
for both health-care providers and governmental agencies.
Dan has also consulted with over 200 churches and other non-profit
organizations, including churches from most of the major denominations and
many non-denominational churches. His efforts have included strategic and
ministry planning, staffing and organizational evaluation, funding, and
capital project development. Dan has also served on church staff as
administrator for several of the largest churches in the U.S.
In recent years, Dan has assisted his non-profit clients in obtaining
funding for capital projects including church facilities, senior care
properties, and other specialty development as well as for operational
financing needs. He has had primary responsibility for over $400 million
in successful financings without experiencing a default.
The growth of the senior care and residential sector over recent years,
which is projected to continue well into the future, led Dan and other
Alpha principals to develop a senior care project model specially designed
for church campuses. This approach of joining church facilities and senior
living properties creates a dynamic interactive relationship that
emphasizes
spiritual care along with quality health, residential, and social care.
Dan is currently developing such projects on church campuses throughout
the country.
Dan, his wife, Gay, and their daughter, Anna, live in Destin, Florida. He
has two other married children, Lee and Joseph, as well as eight
grandchildren. Dan is a member of Shoreline Church and serves on its Board
of Directors.
